MARK ‘ARK’ STEPHENSON aka ‘The Prodigy’ – Reggae violinist extraordinaire, is an international recording and performing artiste. His area of expertise is the violin to which he has incorporated Reggae tones. He is also able to play Jazz, Classical, Celtic, Rock and Heavy Metal.

He has been playing the violin for over fourteen (14) years, of which he has studied classical music for ten (10) years. Mark started his training at Belair Preparatory School, and continued his training with Sybil Grant. As part of his academic development he attended Belair High School, West Indies College High and West Indies College Extension Studies.

He has performed for superstars such as Steven Segal and Cheryl Lee-Ralph, recorded with musical geniuses such as Grammy Nominee Beres Hammond, Buju Banton, Italee and directly shared stage with a myriad of performing talents such as Dance Hall artiste 'Lady Saw', and Reggae artiste Ernie Smith. His performing talents have been witnessed live and recorded overseas in touring events conducted throughout Europe in the years 2000 and 2001-2002. Locally, he has stunned many in major shows such as The Jamerican Film Festival, Rebel Salute 2002, CME, and Reggae Fest, just to name a few Not confining his musical talent to himself, he has taught violin in London and currently teaches at The Queen's High School.
